Gastrolepta anthracina (Meigen, 1826)
An uncommon Tachinid nationally, mostly confined to coastal areas of some southern and south-eastern counties. There appear to be two Nottinghamshire records, both coming in 2019. One was recorded at Toton (Lygo, B.) with a second record coming from Netherfield Lagoons in 2019, found and photographed  below by Peter Smith. Thanks go to Peter for allowing us to use his photograph.
