Fagocyba cruenta (Herrich-Schäffer, 1838)
A common species and one of few Leafhoppers to be found on Beech, Fagocyba cruenta is probably occurs over much of Nottinghamshire. From our brief experience of the species (August 2016) it seems as likely to occur in parks and suburban areas, as in woodland. Many Leahoppers are difficult to identify from photographs, including F. cruenta.
