Eutrichapion viciae (Paykull, 1800)
A small Weevil that can be found on both Meadow Vetchling (Lathyrus pratensis) and Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca). We know of records from the former Annesley Bentinck Colliery in 2007 (Kirby, P.) Attenborough NR in 2016, where it was found and photographed (lower two photos) by reserve manager Tim Sexton. Our thanks go to Tim, for allowing us to use his photographs. Most recently, we recorded E. viciae from the site of the former Bilsthorpe Colliery in 2017.
