Dienerella vincenti (Johnson, 2007)
This is another very tiny species, measuring little more than 1.25mm. There are a number of very similar species, so identification is very difficult and as this is a beetle that doesn't photograph particularly well on wood, a couple of 'in the pot' photographs are included. Nottinghamshire records seem confined to the Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park areas of the county, but three turned up in a leaf litter sample taken from Lound Wood in April 2023, so there may well be an element of under recording of this and other Dienerella species.
