Delphax pulchellus (Curtis, 1833)
A large Delphicid with a scattering of records from many coastal areas of the UK. The only other Nottinghamshire record we know of, is from Netherfield Lagoons. Delphax pulchellus is found in reedbeds, similar to where we recorded this macropterous (fully-winged) example, photographed at Lound GP (part of the Idle Valley NR) in August 2017.
