Datonychus melanostictus (Marsham, 1802)
Generally widespread over much of the southern UK, with records reaching as far north as Yorkshire. The NBN Gateway currently lists no Nottinghamshire records, so the individual photographed by Tim Sexton at Attenborough NR in 2015, is probably the first for the county.
