Conwentzia pineticola (Enderlein, 1905)
Conwentzia pineticola is one of a number of very small, white Lacewings (often called Wax Flies) which are all extremely difficult to identify and certainly requires having a specimen. They are frequently attracted to MV light traps and can be regularly beaten from shrubs and trees. There are two species of Conwentzia in the UK, with C. pineticola favouring Pines and C. psociformis favouring decidous trees and shrubs.
