Chaetocnema hortensis (Geoffroy in Fourcroy, 1785) 
A small leaf beetle, with a fairly widespread distribution across Nottinghamshire, who's distribution is probably only limited by lack of recorder coverage, rather than being uncommon. Most of the known county records are from western areas of the county, especially on some former pit tops such as Pinxton and Annesley-Bentinck Collieries.
