Ceutorhynchus picitarsis (Gyllenhal, 1837)
Distributed over eastern parts of the UK (including the Midlands) Ceutorhynchus picitarsis is a common agricultural pest species of Oil-seed Rape and is often commonly referred to as the Rape Winter Stem Weevil. There seem to be few Nottinghamshire records, although it must be under recorded to a degree. Measuring within 2.5-3.5mm, this one turned up in our Market Warsop garden in June 2015.
