Brachypterus glaber (Stephens, 1832) 
Surprisingly few modern Nottinghamshire records, but it must be fairly widespread in view of Nettle being the hostplant. When found, this small beetle appears to be present in some numbers and it is easily confused with several similar species, so care has to be taken with identification.
