Brachypterolus linariae (Stephens, 1830)
There seem to be few (if any) Nottinghamshire records of this small beetle and there may well be an element of under-recording as there are a number of similar looking species. Found on the flowers of Toadflax Linaria vulgaris, several Brachypterolus linariae were swept from a small patch of Toadflax, found growing at Beeston Sidings in August 2021.
