Botanophila fugax (Meigen, 1826)
Probably more common and widespread in Nottinghamshire than records would suggest, but this is a difficult species to identify and cannot be done from photographs. There are modern records of Botanophila fugax from Sherwood Heath and Clipstone Old Quarter in Sherwood Forest and also from Oak Tree Heath in Mansfield.
