Astenus pulchellus (Heer, 1839)
A small Staphylinid which is probably somewhat under-recorded in Nottinghamshire. There are at least three records, from Sherwood Heath SSSI (Godfrey, A. and Marsh, B.) and also from a manure heap in a field close to Ollerton in March 2021, with a record from the Nottingham Trent University's Brackenhurst Campus in 2017 (Heeney, W.).
