Argogorytes fargeii
(Shuckard, 1837) |
||
| Found only in the very north of the county in the Idle Valley, this record of Argogorytes fargeii from Phil and Steph Lee's Misterton garden, is presumably a first record for VC56 Nottinghamshire. Identification is difficult, but can be achieved from good quality photographs. In Argogorytes mystaceus the legs are black and orange, but are black & yellow in Argogorytes fargeii. Grateful thanks go to Phil for very kindly providing the photographs below. | ||
