Anoscopus histrionicus (Fabricius, 1794) 
Seemingly rarely recorded inland, as Anoscopus histrionicus is primarily a coastal species, so it looks like this is the first ever Nottinghamshire record. A tiny species measuring only around 3.0mm-4.0mm in length, the one photographed was found at Portland Park, Kirkby-in-Ashfield in early June 2025, by Nick and Samantha Brownley, who kindly provided the specimen below. There are scattered records from many coastal areas of the UK, as far north as southern Scotland.
