Hawthorn Mining Bee Andrena chrysosceles (Kirby, 1802) 
A common species over much of the UK, though many of the records listed on the NBN Atlas, appear to be unconfirmed. There are numerous historical records from Nottinghamshire, but the general lack of interest in our Hymenopterous fauna, means that there are few very recent county records.
