Gwynne's Mining Bee Andrena bicolor (Fabricius, 1775)
This is a common solitary species, found in a wide variety of habitats. There are two generations each year, with the first generation flying between March to June and June to August. The female shown below, was photographed at a brownfield site in Mansfied Woodhouse.
