Anaspis humeralis (Fabricius, 1775)
A small and indiscreet member of the Scraptidae group, this is a rare or under-recorded beetle within the Sherwood Forest NNR. Found at Clipstone Old Quarter in late May 2011 and more recently in 2015, Anaspis humeralis (formerly A. fasciata) is best found by beating the flowers of Hawthorn during May.
