Alnetoidea alneti (Dahlbom, 1850) 
A bright yellow Leafhopper, found on a range of deciduous trees. Alnetoidea alneti is one of many similar-looking species, so any identification from photographs is virtually impossible. Despite the lack of dots of the distribution map below, this is probably a very common Leafhopper across most of Nottinghamshire. Photographed on Oak, at Market Warsop in early October 2015.
