Adult Yellow-legged Gull (possibly female) photographed at Church Hill on September 3rd 2007, later present with two other adults and a 3cy bird and a flock of 30 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. The lower right photograph of this group of four, shows the difference in height and structure between Yellow-legged Gull and the Lesser Black-backed Gull in front.

Male Yellow-legged Gull photographed in a different field at Church Hill on September 3rd 2007. The top of the head is typically flat, with a sharp angle towards the nape of the neck. This bird was with 62 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and was one of two seen initially, before most birds left towards Eakring Field Farm.
